OHH~! tis is actually a really interesting question bchis lore felt less like a fall off then came back and more like watching his public identity get completely dismantled , so when people say โye fell offโ that doesn't really describe what happened. the person the public thought Kanye was became increasingly impossible to reconcile with the artist people loved! a much more uncomfortable kind of downfall>_> 2025 happened.. this is where I'd draw the biggest line. hed been controversial for years bc of the Taylor Swift incident, slavery comments, political controversies, bizarre interviews, public feuds, blablabla his career had survived enormous amounts of controversy before............he lost major partnerships and business relationships, including Adidas and his public image deteriorated alot. you could see the distinction between โhhaa~ this celebrity keeps doing outrageous things! you crazy yeโ and โthis person is repeatedly saying things that are hateful oh jeeโ โhe's just being kanyeโ relllyy stops being an adequate explanation even after all of that...you'd think losing massive corporate partnerships, then becoming one of the most controversial entertainers on Earth would make an artist culturally irrelevant..his audience remained enormous??? LOL tells you something uncomfortable about celebrities, people don't necessarily have one unified opinion of an artist. by 2026, Ye has clearly demonstrated that his career isn't simply dead. his album Bully DID reach No. 2 on the Billboard 200 so Holy shit. After EVERYTHING, the audience is still here. . i do hope that ye is getting better which i think he is with his apology and stuff.. Imo seeing it all play out was really just so confusing all the time i hope that makes sense
